Iternery
Day 01
Departure for Pithapuram:
- With the blessings of Shri Datta and our patrons, Salunkhe Tours begins its Pithapuram, Kuravpur, and Mantralayam pilgrimage.
- Depart by Train No. 11099 Bhubaneswar Konark Express at 2:00 PM from Mumbai CST, 2:10 PM from Dadar, 2:30 PM from Thane, and 2:55 PM from Kalyan for Pithapuram.
Day 02
Arrival in Pithapuram & Sripada Vallabha Darshan:
- Arrive in Pithapuram at 1:20 PM.
- Travel 1 km by reserved auto-rickshaw to Shri Swami Samarth Bhavan, which offers accommodation just a few steps from the Sripada Vallabha Datta Temple.
- Freshen up, rest a bit, and at 6:00 PM, witness the birthplace of Sripada Vallabha and the Palkhi Sohala (palanquin procession).
- Overnight stay in Pithapuram.
Day 03
Pithapuram Temple Visits:
- Devotees wishing to attend Kakad Aarti and Nirgun Paduka Darshan can do so between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM at the temple.
- After breakfast, Abhishek and Homa-Havan can also be performed at the temple.
- After lunch, relax.
- In the evening, visit local Pithapuram temples: Anaghalakshmi Temple, Kunti Madhav Temple, Puruhutika Devi (one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of Devi), Padagaya (a reclining idol of Gayasura's feet), and Shri Kukkuteshwara Temple.
- Overnight stay in Pithapuram.
Day 04
Travel to Raichur:
- After breakfast, depart from Samalkot Railway Station at 11:00 AM by Train No. 18111 Tatanagar Yesvantpur Express for Raichur.
Day 05
Arrival in Raichur & Mantralayam Darshan:
- Arrive at Raichur Railway Station at 2:00 AM.
- Proceed to the hotel in Raichur by reserved jeep.
- After freshening up and breakfast, travel by large jeep to Mantralayam for Shri Raghavendra Swami Sansthan Temple Darshan.
- After lunch, return to the hotel in Raichur by evening.
- Overnight stay in Raichur.
Day 06
Kuravpur & Departure for Mumbai:
- Checkout from the hotel at 7:00 AM and depart for Kuravpur.
- The 25 km journey from Raichur to Kuravpur will be by non-AC taxi / Trax Cruiser (Toofan jeep).
- Kuravpur is a serene and beautiful island situated between the two banks of the Krishna River. The temple here is the Tapobhoomi (place of penance) of Sripada Vallabha.
- The journey involves a 2 km boat ride across the Krishna River by engine boat. After disembarking, it's a 10-minute walk from the Krishna River bank to the temple.
- Upon reaching the temple, after washing hands and feet, men are required to wear white or saffron lungi or sovale (dhoti) for Darshan.
- Have Darshan at this Sripada Vallabha Datta Temple.
- Afterwards, return by boat and jeep to the hotel in Raichur for lunch.
- After lunch, proceed to Raichur Railway Station.
- Depart from Raichur at 4:05 PM by Train No. 22158 Chennai Express for Mumbai.
Day 07
Arrival in Mumbai:
- Arrive safely at Kalyan by 4:30 AM, Dadar by 5:17 AM, and CST by 5:50 AM with pleasant tour memories.
